We asked Samira to answer some questions so that we can get to know her a little better:
I completed my undergraduate studies in physical chemistry, with a focus on polymers and hydrogels, and my graduate research in organic chemistry, having a focus on the design and synthesis of small organic molecules. My background in both fields has given me a desire for evaluating organic material formulations, which is one of the primary responsibilities of a material developer at the bio-based company of Cellfion.
A material developer position in Cellfion requires developing procedures for cellulose-based membranes and optimizing production processes from development to implementation for the desired applications. Given my experience in designing, manufacturing, and testing organic probes, I enthusiastically anticipate helping to improve the structural characteristics of cellulose-based membranes for a wide range of applications at Cellfion.
Cellfion is a great platform in the modern world where bio-based products are highly demanded. I am grateful for the chance to work with this company to create novel products and expand the use of green materials in various fields and even in everyday life.
I enjoy reading different books and spending time at public libraries. I ride my bike every day to discover new areas of the stunning city of Stockholm. I enjoy fixing damaged things, making cocktails, cooking vegetable-based foods, and sunbathing!
