The total project value is approximately 120 millionSEK and will establish Cellfion’s first roll-to-roll production line for PFAS-free membranes. The project site is located at the company’s current facilities on Stora Essingen, Stockholm, with a targeted annual capacity of 120,000 sqm.

“This marks a critical step in the company's journey from the pilot phase to industrial manufacturing. The project enables Cellfion to demonstrate supply capabilities for industrial projects driven by market demand and is a critical step toward high-volume production capabilities,” says Liam Hardey, CEO of Cellfion.

Support from the Swedish Energy Agency enables Cellfion to accelerate the establishment of an industrial demonstration line, aiming to meet growing demand for advanced PFAS-free membranes in the energy, process and filtration industries.
