Through the acquisition, Cellfion will expand its coating knowledge and capabilities, including access to specialised coating machinery that is unique in the Nordic region. These capabilities will also enable roll-to-roll production, supporting a more scalable manufacturing approach. The facility will provide additional capacity and flexibility for coating and process development, supporting a broader range of technologies across Cellfion’s product portfolio.

The combination of these capabilities with Cellfion’s existing expertise in advanced membrane materials and functionalised nanocellulose will strengthen the company’s ability to bring current products to market, enable future developments and shorten the path to production.
